intu Milton Keynes launches Spring/Summer fashion with 'real models' from MK

At the end of January, the shopping centre appealed for ‘models’ to come forward to take part in a photoshoot featuring the latest trends.

Over 100 entries were received, and judges whittled it down to just five models from three age categories, 18-25, 25-35 and 35-45.

Last Friday, the winning models who are all from the Milton Keynes and Bletchley area, Aimee Blake, Lennie Heslop, Chloe Wrigley and Mica Whyte, along with intu Milton Keynes’ very own marketing coordinator and star of SS17, Joe Atherton, took part in an urban photoshoot in Central Milton Keynes. Shot by local professional photographer, Gill Prince, the shoot captured over 300 stunning looks and poses.

Kirsty McGiff, marketing manager at intu Milton Keynes said, “We wanted to work with real local people to launch Spring Summer 2018 and put them into a real life surrounding that we hope people can relate to. The shots are stunning, and we can’t wait to reveal the final images.”

intu Milton Keynes gave all five winners the full model experience for the day with a number of shoots from around the city centre, plus two beauty counters from within Debenhams, NYX Cosmetics and Make Up Forever, gave the female models of the group an extra special treat.

On Monday 5 March, intu Milton Keynes will launch a Facebook competition where followers can win a £25 Gift Card each weekday for eleven days. Every day, people must “guess the retailer” as each image will feature one or more of the models wearing a different retailer from the centre. To enter, followers will simply need to comment below the picture with their guess and one winner will be picked at random to win!
