Introducing the Milton Keynes gym where potter's wheels replace running machines!

Newport Pagnell's Keko Club is inviting Milton Keynes residents to let loose their artistic side in the most fun way.

The creative space welcomes absolute beginners and experienced makers alike to its pottery fuelled fun. But this isn't another pottery cafe. It's a hub for learning and sharing.

“It's a gym for creativity!” says owner Kateryna Shamshuryna-Acland, “We have everything you need here to be creative.

“I want people to come along, chinwag, ask questions, be curious and give people topics to talk about.”

The art studio is for everyone to engage and connect with themselves, practice self-care and try something new. You might think, 'It's not for me,' but Kateryna says that you should try before you dismiss the idea.

“There is always the opportunity to have a taster session – a chance to dip your toe into the water to see if it's for you. People who have done that have been surprised that there are visible results right away,” she told MKFM.

This alternative-gym boasts six potter wheels, and membership specials for the over 60's.

Keko Club opens late too, so workers can pop in and get their creative fill after the daily grind is done, and Kateryna is introducing sessions with other artists, expanding the club's offering.

Keko Club is located at 67B Union Street.
