IN PICTURES: New social distancing measures implemented at Milton Keynes Train Station

New social distancing measures have been implemented at Milton Keynes Central Railway Station to protect the public.

Photos from the station show a number of new measures in place, including floor markings and a queueing system.

The government wants social distancing to be strictly followed where possible on the railway and advises all passengers to wear face coverings, carry hand sanitiser and wash your hands before and after your journey.

More trains are now running than during lockdown through Milton Keynes but passengers are strongly advised to check their journey before travelling.

Advice once on the train includes passengers being asked to try to keep one seat next to them free on board.

London Northwestern Railway have also suspended first class on their services until further notice to create more space.
