The Parks Trust, with the help of Milton Keynes Angling Association, has added hundreds of fish into lakes across the city.

The Parks Trust is an independent charity that cares for over 6,000 acres of parkland and green space in Milton Keynes.

To help 'boost' breeding stock, fish have been added to Lodge Lake, Teardrop Lakes 4 and Wolverton Mill Balancing Lakes.

The fish added range from small tench to carp weighing up to 9 pounds.

The Milton Keynes Angling Association is a local coarse (non-trout) angling body which makes fishing available across the city. The MKAA is run by volunteers who want to share the 'pleasures of fishing'.

To fish on MK waters, anglers must hold a rod licence and be a member of the MKAA.

Venues include Parks Trust lakes Furzton, Willen, Caldecotte, Lodge and Teardrops.
