Hundreds more homes to be built on new Milton Keynes estate

A developer is launching its second development next to Wavendon, consisting of hundreds more homes.

Bellway has created a new development off of the A421, on the edge of Wavendon.

The first section, Wavendon Chase, has a number of two, three and four-bedroom houses currently available.

And the new development that will launch in March, Wavendon View, will comprise of 239 homes. This includes one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses, with 74 'affordable' homes for local people.

Luke Southgate, Sales Director for Bellway Northern Home Counties, said: “Wavendon View will be our second development in Wavendon as we begin to build a new community in the area.

“The location of our developments near to the village means buyers will get the rural experience while still being close enough to towns like Milton Keynes, which is just a 10-minute drive away, plus Northampton, Luton and Bedford via the M1.

“The new residents’ nearest railway station will be Woburn Sands, on the Bletchley to Bedford line, and those commuting into London can do so from Milton Keynes to Euston in just over half an hour.

“The accessibility of Wavendon View, along with the convenient travel routes, make this development perfect for first-time buyers, commuters or families who want a semi-rural location with good transport links.

“With 407 homes being built across Wavendon View and Wavendon Chase, we have created a range of homes which we believe will offer something to suit every buyer’s needs.”

Wavendon View sits alongside Wavendon Chase. It will open to visitors in March.
