Homebuilder donates winter essentials to homeless people in Milton Keynes

    Taylor Wimpey South Midlands has donated 74 socks, gloves, scarves and hats to YMCA Milton Keynes, the only provider of supported housing dedicated to young adults in Milton Keynes, as part of its Wrap Up Warm campaign.

    Since 1981, YMCA MK has supported more than 10,000 young people, aged 18-35, providing a safe place to for them to call home, as well as a wide range of services to help them reach their full potential.

    "Although Christmas is a happy time for many, it can be a hard time for those without support or a safe place to call home," said Hollie-Jasmine Wills, Fundraising and Partnerships Officer at YMCA MK,  “We are very grateful for this donation as it will help our residents feel warm and cosy this Christmas.”

    Fiona Lloyd, Sales & Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey South Midlands, added: “YMCA Milton Keynes provides vital service and support to young people. We hope that our donation will go some way to providing some comfort this Christmas.”
