After temperatures have been dropping the council's gritting teams have been preemptively deployed to keep driving conditions safe across Milton Keynes.
Ringway MK, the local council's gritting service, offered an update on their progress as the posted on social media: "The forecast last night of marginal road temp changed as cloud cover cleared overnight meaning road temps dropped lower than forecast.
"Our gritting teams went out around 2am. A frosty start again this morning."
