Great British Inns invite the elderly to Christmas lunch

In recent years Great British Inns have held a ‘Help Us to Help Others’ charity event at  their restaurants; The Red House, Newport Pagnell, The Three Trees, Bletchley and The Ship, Linslade, Leighton Buzzard.

Every year, Great British Inns invite elderly individuals who will be alone around the Christmas period to come and enjoy a hearty meal with others in their position. They also receive a Christmas present each to take away with them, with all costs covered.

Jason, Owner of the Great British Inns Group, said: ‘After the inviting some lovely elderly ladies and gents to join us last year we realised what the true meaning of community spirt was. It was so heart-warming and uplifting to see so much laughter and happiness amongst strangers, so we wanted to do it again this year.

‘We wanted to extend a warm thank you to the community that has supported us. We hope to do this again with more charity meals for the elderly and other good causes not only at Christmas but throughout the year.’

Merry Christmas and a Happy New year from all of us at Great British Inns.’
