Good news as Milton Keynes road re-opens after five months of work

Buckingham Road in Bletchley has re-opened today after being closed for five months by Network Rail.

The road first closed on 5th July 2020 in the section under the railway to allow replacement of the bridge deck.

Work on the bridge is an essential component for the new Milton Keynes to Oxford railway line.

Motorists are now able to resume using the road between the Brunel Roundabout and Water Eaton Road.

Bus services have also started using the road again from today - however Arriva have said they still won't be serving Bletchley Bus Station until further notice.
