Get festive on a Thursday and help raise money for Milton Keynes Hospital Charity

MK Hospital Charity is inviting you to wear something festive on Thursday 8th December to support fundraising at Milton Keynes University Hospital.

This is the charity’s eighth Christmas Jumper Day is and encourages people to wear something festive and make a donation of just £1 to take part. This simple and jolly fundraiser can be done with your school, workplace, or group of friends.

Traditionally the event has taken place on a Friday, but this year it is swapping to a Thursday – which is the new Friday, so we hear!

Jenny O’Farrell-White, Community Fundraising Lead at Milton Keynes Hospital Charity said: “I can’t wait for Christmas Jumper Day, it’s such a lovely event and so easy to get involved with. Anything festive counts, whether that’s a jangly Christmas jumper, a pair of holly head-boppers or some snowman socks!

“This is a fun event but will have a serious impact - raising money to make a real difference to patients, their families and staff at the hospital. We would love as many people as possible to join us on Thursday December 8, so please get in touch if you’d like to get festive with us”.

To sign up please visit the MK Hospital Charity website here, or email fundraising@mkuh.nhs.uk to find out more. You can also call 01908 997643 or visit www.mkhcharity.org.uk to find out more about the event or the work that Milton Keynes Hospital Charity does.
