Webber Independent School Celebrates Exceptional 2025 GCSE Results and Inspiring Student Success Stories

Webber Independent School in Milton Keynes have announced GCSE results that rank among its best ever, with 45.7% of all grades at Grade 7 (A) or above.

Laughter, cheers and a few emotional tears filled the school’s corridors on results morning, as Year 11 students came together to mark the end of their GCSE journey and to celebrate an exceptional set of results. The Class of 2025 achieved an outstanding set of outcomes, which school leaders say reflects both the pupils’ hard work and the unwavering support of teachers and families.

Headmistress Hilary Marsden praised the results, saying: “I am absolutely delighted that the determination, talent and resilience of our students — coupled with the dedication and skill of our teachers and support of our families — has been rewarded with such an exceptional set of results. Every single student should be immensely proud of their achievements. These grades are the culmination of years of hard work, perseverance and a genuine love of learning, and today is a moment to celebrate their success. At Webber, we pride ourselves on being more than just a school that delivers strong academic outcomes — we are a community that nurtures each young person as an individual, giving them the confidence, curiosity and character to thrive in every aspect of life. This year’s Year 11 students have embodied those values in everything they have done, from their commitment to their studies to the way they have supported one another through challenges.”

The school says the results also demonstrate the strength of its approach, where academic achievement is developed alongside character, leadership and extra-curricular involvement. Many of this year’s pupils combined preparation for 10 or 11 GCSEs with leadership roles in school societies, representing Webber in sport, music and drama, and contributing to community service projects. Mrs Marsden added: “This is not just about exam certificates. It’s about seeing our students grow into articulate, confident, compassionate young adults. The academic results are a reflection of their drive and potential — but equally important is the way they have supported one another, stepped into leadership roles, and engaged in the life of the school.”

Leavers from the Class of 2025 will now progress to high-achieving and selective Sixth Forms to study a wide range of A Level and vocational courses. Others will move on to specialist training programmes or competitive apprenticeships, taking with them the academic foundations, personal values and self-belief developed during their time at Webber. The school now looks forward to seeing this exceptional group of young people continue to discover their strengths, interests and talents, as they take the next steps in their education.

Prospective families are invited to see the school in action at its Open Day on Saturday 11th October 2025. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet students and staff, tour the facilities and learn more about Webber’s academic and pastoral approach.
