Fundraisers take part in Grand Union Canal walk from London to Milton Keynes for local charity

Gamiel and Warren from Milton Keynes, walked 60 miles to raise money for Harry's Rainbow.

Fundraisers from Milton Keynes took part in a gruelling 100k (60 miles) walk from London to Milton Keynes in August, raising funds for Harry's Rainbow.

The walk, which was completed in less than 24 hours, took the fundraisers from the capital city to MK along the Grand Union Canal.

Nearly £2,000 has been raised for the Milton Keynes-based charity, Harry's Rainbow, following the difficult walk.

The charity supports children and young people in the Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, who have been bereaved of a parent or sibling. As well as providing information and guidance on their website and social networking sites, they provide various bereavement support services. These include regular support groups, activities and trips, and individual tailored support, as appropriate.
