Fresh appeal for 63 year old Stony Stratford man who is still missing after 4 days

Police have launched a fresh appeal to find a missing 63 year old man from Stony Stratford, who was last seen on Wednesday at Milton Keynes Hospital.

John O’Neill, aged 63, was last seen at Milton Keynes University Hospital at around 11.15am on Wednesday (30/5) after attending an outpatients’ appointment.

John is white, 6ft 1in, is of very thin build, has thinning grey hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black jeans, a thin dark grey jumper with a small ‘money’ metal logo on the left side, a Tesco staff fleece/jacket, and black shoes.

He is believed to have had his reading glasses with him which has the right arm missing and was carrying a white paper bag which had green lettering on it, from a chemist.

He does not have access to a vehicle and uses the number 6 bus which runs between Stony Stratford and the hospital.

It is believed John may have been seen waiting for the number 6 bus at a bus stop in Netherfield, Milton Keynes, between 2pm and 3pm on Wednesday.

Superintendent Yvette Hitch, Milton Keynes Local Policing Area Commander, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for John’s welfare, particularly with the inclement weather conditions of the past few days and the length of time John has been missing."

“I would like to appeal to anyone with any information about John’s whereabouts to contact police. I would also specifically like to appeal to anyone who was travelling on the number 6 bus on Wednesday who believes they may have seen John on the bus or getting off the bus."

“If you have any information, regardless of how insignificant you think it could be, please come forward and speak to police.”

Anyone with any information about John’s whereabouts should contact the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101 quoting the reference ‘68 31/5’.
