Festival experts offer record tuition to all-comers.
Budding DJs from across Milton Keynes are being invited to take advantage of some free tuition in a new education programme devised by music specialists.
Leisure event experts Riot Noise and On The Decks have collaborated with festival organisers Tribes Unite Festival to produce the hands-on tuition sessions, free of charge, for absolute beginners through to established DJs ready to level-up their careers.
Together, the three organisations are turning the forthcoming National Bowl Tribes Unite Festival into a launchpad for tomorrow’s headliners, while opening the door for the local community to join the UK rave movement.
DJs can polish their skills throughout August, thanks to the education programme which will be delivered from the iconic Riot Noise Truck, a mobile stage, parked in City Square (outside M&S), MK City Centre.
The nightclub scene has been under pressure, with 31 per cent of venues closing permanently between March 2020 and December 2023,” said Nicky Maciocia, co-founder, Riot Noise. “That’s an average loss of 10 clubs every month. By bringing industry-grade training directly to Milton Keynes, the programme aims to reverse that trend locally and nurture the next wave of talent.”
“Riot Noise exists to flip the music scene. We amplify what really matters: raw talent, real energy, and unmissable moments. By teaming up with Tribes Unite and On The Decks, we’re turning a national festival into a classroom without walls, shaping tomorrow’s stars while celebrating the culture that inspires them.”
“I’ve been DJing for four years and couldn’t miss this chance to hone my skills,” said 12-year-old local sensation Hendrix Johnson, known on stage as HOOX. “Seeing Tribes Unite return to my hometown with the artists I look up to is unreal. One day I want to be on that stage.”
The free lessons will be given onboard the Riot Noise Truck on 1st and 7th August at City Square, Milton Keynes. Booking available here: RiotNoise.com.
