Four new coronavirus cases in Milton Keynes for Saturday

    Four new coronavirus cases have been reported in Milton Keynes today.

    It brings the total number of people tested positive in Milton Keynes since the start of the pandemic to 20,233 - of which 63 were in the past seven days.

    The 7-day case rate in Milton Keynes has slightly increased from 20.4 cases per 100,000 people yesterday to 23.0 cases per 100,000 people today.

    This is lower than the national average of 24.2 cases per 100,000 people.

    Nationally, there was an additional 2,027 people tested positive today, with 7 deaths within 28 days of a positive test.

    These deaths did not take place in Milton Keynes, meaning the city's total COVID-linked death toll still stands at 463 since the start of the pandemic.

    Meanwhile, 36,320,867 people have now had a first dose of the vaccine and 19,698,121 have been given a second dose across the country.
