Four children assessed for smoke inhalation after fire in Stantonbury playground

    Two boys and two girls have been assessed by paramedics for possible smoke inhalation following a fire at a playground in Stantonbury earlier this afternoon.

    Fire Service and Paramedics were called to the playground on Redbridge in Milton Keynes at around 12.28pm this afternoon due to the fire.

    One fire appliance and crew from Broughton Fire Station attended, with firefighters using a main jet to extinguish the fire.

    The exact cause of the fire is not known, but the children affected are now thought to be safe and well and did not require a Hospital visit.
