Former Met Officer from Milton Keynes charged with multiple child sex offences

A former Metropolitan Police constable from Milton Keynes has been charged with multiple sexual offences involving children.

Adam Merriman, 37, from Bletchley, Milton Keynes, has been charged with multiple child sex offences, including the sexual assault of a child under 13. He has been charged with six counts related to arranging or facilitating child sex offences, and two charges of engaging in sexual activity in front of a child.

Additionally, Merriman is charged with three counts of making indecent images of a child, possession of extreme pornographic material, and possession of a prohibited image of a child.

Merriman is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (September 4).
