Food bank sees 55,500 items go out to people in Milton Keynes last month

The BIG Doorstep GIVE collection is taking place this Saturday, 25th March.

In February, food donations in Milton Keynes (21,000 items) covered less than half of what went out in parcels (55,500 items) meaning the stocks at MK Food Bank are very low.

For many residents who can’t get to a donation point, the MK Food Bank is providing the opportunity to donate from your doorstep.

It’s very simple to take part:

  1. Send the MK Food Bank team an email at or WhatsApp 07874 964505 with your address and postcode. They can collect from anywhere with an MK postcode but you must provide these details!
  2. The team will reply with a time slot that a volunteer collection driver will be in your area.
  3. Before your allocated slot, place your donations of long-life food (see list of most-needed items here) in a clearly visible spot on your doorstep.

Please share this event and spread the word in any way you can. Together we can fill MK Foodbank's shelves and ensure they can continue to support anyone in need in Milton Keynes.
