First floor of Milton Keynes house left 'severely damaged' following house fire

Fire crews were called to a house fire in Milton Keynes yesterday morning.

Bucks Fire and Rescue were called at 10.16am to a property on Diddington Close in Bletchley.

Two fire appliances and crews from West Ashland (one of which was on standby from Buckingham), one from Broughton and three officers attended.

Firefighters used two hose reels, four sets of breathing apparatus and a fan to put out the fire.

The first floor of the semi-detached house was severely damaged by fire and the ground floor was 50 per cent damaged by smoke.

No injuries were reported.
