Firefighters tackle caravan fire in Milton Keynes in early hours of Monday morning

A caravan fire in Olney in the early hours of this morning spread to two outbuildings, which contained building equipment and vehicles.

Fire crews from Broughton, Olney and Harrold attended the incident in Dagnall Road, and used breathing apparatus sets, hose reel jets and one main jet to bring the blaze under control.

Two Propane and two Butane gas cylinders were also removed by firefighters and cooled.

The caravan was 100% damaged by fire, and three further vehicles sustained heat damage.

The crews remained on the scene for an extended period of time, damping down and checking for hotspots.
