Firefighters attend fuse board fire at Milton Keynes secondary school

Firefighters were called out to Hazeley Academy this morning (18/10) at around 8:11am.

One fire engine and crew from West Ashland fire station, Broughton fire station and Newport Pagnell fire station attended the fire at the secondary school earlier today.

The school, which is situated in the west of the city, called fire services after spotting a fuse board on fire in the school's first floor plant room.

Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue say firefighters used a thermal imaging camera and say the fire was put out on arrival.

After waiting for the all clear from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue, pupils attended lessons as normal and the school was unaffected.
