Fire incidents in Milton Keynes over the weekend

Busy weekend for Milton Keynes firefighters.

Firefighters from West Ashland were called to a sofa on fire in a wooded area of Westcroft on Saturday.

The incident – in Babylon Grove, Westland – was dealt with using a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

On Sunday, a team from West Ashland were joined by a crew from Broughton to deal with a bin fire.

The external incident had affected the ground window of a two storey property in Strauss Grove, Browns Wood. Firefighters isolated the electricity to the home.
