
Man suffering from smoke inhalation handed to ambulance staff.
Three fire crews plus an officer attended a ground floor flat in Milton Keynes yesterday, to tackle a kitchen fire.
A man suffering from suspected smoke inhalation was handed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service as a result of the blaze.
The Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue appliances – two from West Ashland and one from Broughton – arrived yesterday morning to find the Shelney Church End property ablaze. It was damaged by fire and smoke.
Firefighters utilised breathing apparatus inside the flat. They used one hose reel jet, and a ventilation fan during the rescue.
Earlier in the day a unit from the Newport Pagnell station were called to Redhouse Park in Milton Keynes to attend a hoverboard fire. It was completely destroyed in the blaze but the house where it was kept was undamaged.
