Fire crews tackle Milton Keynes car inferno

Blaze spreads to four other vehicles and a tree.

Fire fighters tackled a serious car fire last night which spread quickly to other vehicles and a nearby tree.

The crew, from Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue’s West Ashland station, were called to the blaze at around 8pm in Wolverton, in which a total of five cars were involved.

One car was completely destroyed by the blaze while the other four vehicles were damaged by flames. Firefighters used breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet, thermal imaging camera plus other small equipment to tackle the fire.
