Fire crews called to two firework-related incidents in Milton Keynes over New Year

    Bucks Fire and Rescue were called to two firework-related incidents on New Year's Eve in Milton Keynes, both of which were caused by the incorrect disposal of used fireworks.

    At 12.31am on 1st January, crews were called to a fire in wheelie bin in Haldene, Two Mile Ash. One appliance and crew from Great Holm attended. Firefighters used one hose reel.

    Then around 20 minutes later, crews were called to a fire in a wooden bin storage area spreading to a nearby shed on Crispin Road in Bradville. One appliance and crew from Great Holm attended. Firefighters used one hose reel.
