Breathing apparatus used to deal with cooker hob fire.
Two 999 crews were called to tackle a fire in the kitchen of a two storey semi-detached property in Bletchley this morning.
The firefighters, from Buckinghamshire Fire Service’s West Ashland station, arrived at the house to find the blaze, which involved a kitchen towel and plastic utensils on the cooker hob.
They had to use breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet, thermal imaging camera and a ventilation fan during the operation.
A home fire safety visit was later provided to the occupiers of the Tavistock Street house.
