Feeling beautiful with The Body Shop

In celebration of International Women's Day, The Body Shop in Milton Keynes offered women supported by MacIntyre, the chance to enjoy a makeover and a pamper session.

Last Friday 8th March, on International Women's Day, staff at The Body Shop MK treated women supported by MacIntyre, a national charity that supports people with learning disabilities and/or autism.

With so many products to choose from, the women enjoyed a variety of skin care treatments as well as a makeup masterclass.

Lauren, one of the women supported by MacIntyre was delighted and said:

“I loved it. My mum is going to think I’m going to a party!”

Staff at the Body Shop in Milton Keynes also generously donated a ‘beauty gift box’ as a raffle prize for MacIntyre’s upcoming Milton Keynes Fashion Show on 5 April.

The Fashion Show will feature a catwalk show and the opportunity to try on and purchase high street clothes at greatly reduced prices.

If you would like to find out more about MacIntyre’s upcoming Fashion Show, please contact MacIntyre’s Fundraising Team via events@macintyrecharity.org or phone 01908 357012.
