Family appeal for more help to bring Tiger home to Milton Keynes

The fundraising appeal to bring 23-year-old Tiger Duggan home following last week's horrific accident has raised more than £169,000.

Whilst riding a motorbike in Thailand, Tiger was hit by an on-coming vehicle and sustained life-threatening injuries.

With costs spiralling, the family have thanked everyone who has contributed so far, while issuing an appeal for more support.

In an emotional post at the weekend, Tiger's mum Lisa said: "This is truly the worst nightmare, and I hate to ask even more of you – however to fly Tiger back to the UK for specialist treatment, the medical repatriation alone costs £150,000, and time is running out. Medical bills have to be paid in Thailand as we go along, they are not allowed to accrue. So money has already been paid out.

"I’m begging anyone who sees this: Help me bring my son home before it’s too late. If you can donate more – Thank you.
"If you can share this video to help it reach others – Thank you. If you can send hope, prayers, and strength – Thank you.
"Your kindness could give our son the chance to come home. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart."

Today, a family spokesperson told MKFM: "Doctors are evaluating his condition for potential medical repatriation.

"All the family are doing everything they can to fundraise and raise awareness for Tiger and others in similar positions."
