Doorstep Diaries projects have been popping up throughout the nation, with photographers taking portrait photographs of families to mark these unprecedented times.

And now, photographers throughout Milton Keynes are doing the same.

Stace from Stace Photography started Doorstep Diaries MK as a way to bring "a little bit of joy" to people in isolation.

She told MKFM: "We want people to look back and remember the good times spent together when explaining the magnitude of lockdown to children too young to understand why they can't go out, or see their friends and family."

These portraits are completely free of charge. A few families have taken Stace up on the offer, but she is keen to get more people involved.

Those who wish to take part in Doorstep Diaries MK can find contact details on Stace Photography's website.

A competition, called 'losing my marbles', has also been launched at a bid to encourage people to get creative whilst in lockdown.

The premise of the competition is to encourage people who are stuck indoors to showcase their most creative interpretation of them losing their marbles, whether it be through photography, arts and crafts, or other creative media.

Entrants are then encouraged to share it on the Facebook page called 'Stace Photography Losing My Marbles'.

"In return we are offering a chance to win a free photoshoot after lockdown and are returning every entry a small handcrafted bag containing their lost marbles," Stace concluded.
