Everything you need to know before MKFM’s 90s vs 00s Throwback Party at Marshall Arena this Saturday

    The stage is set for an evening of big party tunes in Milton Keynes.

    Easter Saturday is almost upon us and the countdown is on for a fantastic evening of throwback party anthems.

    With a line-up of throwback artists including iconic 90s group Baby D, best known for their hit single ‘Let Me Be Your Fantasy’ and Rozalla of ‘Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good)’, music fans can expect a night of massive 90s and 00s hits.

    The over 18s event will also see electronic duo Phats & Small, former Sugababes singer Amelle and MKFM’s very own DJ Hurley take to the stage in Milton Keynes.

    We’ve put together a list of our most common questions to help you prepare for Saturday night.

    Important event information and FAQs:

    When do the doors open? Doors will be open from 7pm with the bar opening promptly.                                                                                  

    What shall I bring? We recommend bringing very little to speed up entry into the arena. The stadium security will do everything possible to ensure a safe event including bag searches.

    No food or drink is permitted to be brought into the arena.

    The event is 18+, ID is required for entry.

    Marshall Arena takes card payment only.

    Is the event on the pitch? No, the event is being hosted undercover in the Marshall Arena.

    The Marshall Arena is located on the ASDA side of Stadium MK.

    Address: Marshall Arena, Stadium MK, Stadium Way West, Milton Keynes, MK1 1ST.

    Is there parking? For designated drivers there is plenty of free parking around Stadium MK and Marshall Arena.

    If drinking, we recommend pre-booking your taxi from the Marshall Arena. Last orders are at 11.30 with the event closing at midnight.

    Will there be food? There will be chocolate and crisps available to purchase - card only.

    Frequent visitors will know that McDonalds, KFC and a number of other restaurants are located nearby, with Asda open until 10pm.

    We recommend eating before the event so you can make the most of your evening.

    Are there toilets? Yes, with an almost unlimited supply of toilet roll.

    When does the event start?

    MKFM’s DJ Hurley will be on stage between 8pm and midnight with the following running order:

    Amelle

    Rozalla

    Baby D

    Phats n Small

    What shall I wear? We hear some people are coming retro in their best 90s and 00s gear.

    There is no dress code, come as causal or as ready to party as you like.

    Do you allow re-admission? Security will be on hand to allow smokers outside and anyone who needs fresh air.

    Hands will be stamped to allow access back inside.

    Will there be seats? This is a standing only event with a disabled viewing area.

    With up to 2,000 people attending, we are providing as much space as possible for people to dance the night away.

    Will there be somewhere to leave a coat or bag? A paid cloakroom will be available on-site.

    What if I feel ill? There will be first aid on site.

    Where can we go after the event? Pink Punters in Fenny Stratford will be hosting the official after party from midnight until 6:30 am, you can find out more here.

    Where is the nearest hotel? On-site accommodation at the DoubleTree Hotel can be booked online here, subject to availability.

    Can I still buy tickets? You can! Tickets can be purchased here.
