Everything you need to know ahead of this year's Firework Spectacular and Funfair in Milton Keynes

    It has been announced that the popular Keith Emmett & Sons funfair and Firework Spectacular will be returning to Campbell Park this November.

    The much-loved funfair by Keith Emmett & Sons is returning to Campbell Park in Milton Keynes from Wednesday 1st until Sunday 5th November.

    The fair is returning alongside the popular Fireworks Spectacular display which will be taking place on Saturday 4th November. 

    Here's everything you need to know:

    Keith Emmett & Sons Funfair 

    Residents will be able to enjoy the fair between 6pm and 10:30pm on weekdays and 2pm until 10:30pm on weekends. Fair-goers will also be able to enjoy the attractions at a reduced rate on Wednesday 1st opening night and closing night Sunday 5th November.

    A £1 entry charge will be in place each night, excluding the main firework night (Saturday 4th) which is free entry. 

    Reduced price nights will be taking place on Wednesday 1st and Sunday 5th.

    Update - The funfair has been closed on Thursday due to weather and safety concerns. 

    Firework Spectacular

    The much-anticipated event has been an annual favourite for families across Milton Keynes for decades and draws crowds of over 100,000 people from across the city each year.  

    This year's event was saved by Topps, the makers of Match Attax trading cards, who are now headline sponsor.

    The event will take place at 8pm on Saturday 4th of November at Campbell Park.

    The following closures will be in place: 

    • Marlborough Street, Central Milton Keynes (Northbound and Southbound) – From its junction with Portway to its junction with Childs Way
    • Portway, Downs Barn (Eastbound and Westbound) – From its junction with Marlborough Street to its junction with North Overgate Roundabout
    • Childs Way, Campbell Park (Eastbound and Westbound) – From its junction with Brickhill Street to its junction with Marlborough Street
    • Overgate, Campbell Park – From its junction with Portway to its junction with Childs Way.
    • Marlborough Gate, Central Milton Keynes – From its junction with Silbury Boulevard to its junction with Avebury Boulevard

    Whilst the closure on Marlborough Gate is in place, there will be access for vehicles exiting the multi-storey car park.
