Entrance to Cardiology department at Milton Keynes University Hospital closed until August 6

Milton Keynes University Hospital inform patients and visitors that the Cardiology department entrance will be closed until tomorrow (August 6) whilst work is done to improve the carbon efficiency of its estate.

As part of Milton Keynes University Hospital's (MKUH) work to improve the carbon efficiency of its estate, work is to take place to replace equipment within the hospital's Sterile Services department. Due to this, a large crane will be situated out the entrance to the Cardiology department, making it unavailable for patients and visitors to use.

For the safety of staff, patients, and visitors, MKUH will be closing the entrance whilst work takes place today (August 5) and tomorrow, August 6. A diversion to the Cardiology department will be in place to direct people to the internal entrance via the Ward 16 entrance doors.

The route will be clearly signposted.

MKUH apologise for any inconvenience caused.
