It was the end of an era at Intu Milton Keynes yesterday as the Debenhams sign on the outside of the building was replaced with a new Next Beauty and Home billboard.
The 'Debenhams' letters have been stuck to the side of the newer section of the shopping centre since it opened 20 years ago.
It comes as work continues to open the new Next Beauty and Home store in the unit, which is scheduled to open in 'Autumn 2020'.
Brands included on the promotional signage for the store include bareMinerals, benefit, Clinique, Chanel, Clarins and Mac.
The new concept store will allow Next to extend it’s fast growing premium beauty offer from online only into bricks and mortar.
Experts at Global Data predict that the UK health and beauty market will grow by 8.8% by 2024 when it will be worth an extra £2 billion.
