Emergency services in Milton Keynes anti-knife initiative

999 crews join knife crime awareness day at shopping centre.

Police, fire and ambulance services will join together next week to raise awareness of anti-knife crime initiatives in a shared event in central Milton Keynes.

The joint partnership ‘Knock Out Knife Crime’ event is being backed by Thames Valley Police, Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service and South Central Ambulance Service, and features a day event at Middleton Hall, Centre:MK next Friday, 23rd May.

“Everyone is welcome to join us,” said a police spokesperson. “There will be stands from TVP, Bucks Fire and SCAS raising awareness of anti-knife crime initiatives and providing much needed fundraising for Action4Youth.

“Guest speakers will be present to deliver inputs to secondary school children and there will be fun, physical challenges available to all. It would be great to see you there.”

Action4Youth is a Caldecotte-based charity that focussed on transforming young peoples’ lives for the better, allowing them to be safe and successful.
