Over the weekend there was a great turnout for the Emergency Service open day at the Blue Light Hub in Milton Keynes, with a few visits from some four-legged friends.

Yesterday, August 25, an Emergency Services open day was hosted at the Blue Light Hub in West Ashland, Milton Keynes, where members of the public were invited to ask questions about how the emergency service teams operate, one of them being the Fire and Rescue team, alongside other services like Bucks Search and Rescue and Thames Valley Police Milton Keynes.

Bucks Search and Rescue took to Facebook and said, “We met Bucks Fire & Rescue USAR K9 Huw and had a ‘cute off’ with our own LR SAR K9 Isla.”

The Emergency Service teams were busy all day, welcoming guests, answering their questions, and demonstrating their capabilities with new equipment.

Bucks Search and Rescue showed its appreciation, saying, “Thank you to all who came to visit us at the Blue Light Hub Milton Keynes. Our new drones were out on show to demonstrate our new capabilities, as was our Incident control unit.”
