The incident took place on Friday (9/2) at about 12:30pm at a property in the Furzton area.
The victim, a 28-year-old female, heard noises downstairs in the kitchen. The victim went to the kitchen and saw a man. The man then left the scene via the patio doors.
Nothing is believed to of been stolen from the property.
Investigating officer, Katie Pollard, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “We would like to speak to anyone who recognises this man or who has any information which could help us identify the person in this E-Fit image.
“If anyone has any information which they think could help our investigation, please get in touch on the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number 101.
