Police are reminding residents to ensure car windows are clear before driving after a car crashed into a lorry earlier today (16/12).

Police have issued a reminder to drivers after a motorist who failed to clear their car windows from ice collided with a HGV earlier today.

Police say the driver was not intoxicated and was not injured in the collision.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: "Whilst its freezing & the sun is low, please ensure you properly clear your windows so you can see. Also drive according to the conditions on the roads.

"It will hopefully prevent meeting a HGV head on. Luckily no-one was injured or intoxicated."
