Driver arrested after wheel-spinning in front of police car in Milton Keynes

A driver with a provisional licence has been arrested after failing a roadside drug test in Milton Keynes.

On Monday 3rd December, a "plonker" driver at a car cruise event was caught wheel-spinning in front of a marked traffic car.

The driver was stopped by Thames Valley Police who said it later transpired that he only has a provisional licence.

The driver was then arrested when he then failed a roadside drug test for Cannabis.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police wrote in a post on Facebook: "What a plonker!"
