Dog lovers in Milton Keynes invited to two-day dog fiesta

This September, The Parks Trust are pleased to welcome back their two-day dog fiesta, Big Doggie Do.

The event will be taking place at Willen Lake over the weekend of Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September from 12 to 6pm.

Bring along your four-legged friends and enjoy a doggie day out with a whole host of activities to choose from.

Again, for this year K9 Aquasports will be at Big Doggie Do with their 35-foot pool where dogs get the opportunity to try their hand (or paws) at dock diving.

This exciting dog-focussed sport consists of dogs jumping from a dock into a large swimming pool, competing against each other for distance, height or speed.

In the main arena you’ll be able to watch Paws for Thought Dog Display team as they take the stage with their fun agility races, tricks and games.

The display team is made up from 8 dogs ranging in breeds from labs to poodles along with their super talented Hoomans!

But that’s not all, The Parks Trust will be hosting their very own Dog Show where your dog could be in with the chance of winning; Most Handsome Dog, Waggiest Tail, Beautiful Bouffant or Tip-Top Trick plus many more.

With thanks to their sponsors MK Vet Group winners will get rosettes and doggie themed prized.

Big doggie do is certainly the dog-lovers dream with various canine equipment outlets to shop at, charities such as Greyhound Friends and HULA to learn more about, there’s even a have-a-go agility course to try.

This event is free to attend, car parking is available at Willen Lake, but charges do apply.
