Do you work in an MK Primary School? Don’t miss out on this free nature club exclusive to schools in Milton Keynes!

A free nature club for Primary Schools! Is your school looking for a new challenge that can help the environment?

Junior Park Rangers (JPR) is a free, inclusive, and fun club that you could become a part of at your school and in your local parks.

JPR is exclusively for students in Years 4 to 6, in Milton Keynes schools. The Parks Trust provides all the resources required to run your club, including some free goodies and a monthly newsletter with links to resources and ideas for your club.

In addition to your school club, The Parks Trust host free practical workshops for students to attend through the seasons. These weekend workshops are independent, so teachers and parents are not required to attend, but are very welcome!

Each school must have an adult Coordinator/s who can arrange and facilitate sessions at lunchtime or after school. A JPR Coordinator’s role is very flexible and doesn’t take up much time, a commitment of approximately 2-3 hours a month to run lunchtime or after school club meetings and/or activities.

If you’re a teacher or teaching assistant ready to sign-up for adventure, register your interest to become a JPR Coordinator for your school today! Email jpr@theparkstrust.com or call 01908 233600 and ask to speak to a member of the Outdoor Learning Team.
