Do you have ‘Time for Tea’ for MacIntyre?

MacIntyre, a national charity that supports over 1,200 people across the UK and over 200 people here in Milton Keynes with learning disabilities and/or autism, invites you to join their virtual 'Time for Tea' event.

The event, which will be held from next Monday 22nd June to Sunday 28th June, is a chance to meet with friends and family online over a cup of tea, coffee and a slice of cake, donating what you would spend at a café to raise money for the people supported by MacIntyre.

This years’ Time for Tea week is sponsored by MacIntyre's Corporate Partner, Brioche Pasquier who have also kindly donated a picnic hamper full of goodies to win. Raffle tickets available from Monday 22nd June on their website.

All of the money raised will go directly to the people supported by MacIntyre, helping them to stay connected to loved ones during this challenging time, learn new skills and live a life that makes sense to them.

Lorraine Devereux, MacIntyre's Events and Corporate Fundraiser said, "We are inviting everybody to help us celebrate MacIntyre’s Virtual Time for Tea week. Whether you get together with friends over Zoom for a cuppa, a picnic in your garden or local park, or donate £3 by texting the word TEA to 70490, you will be making a difference to people with learning disabilities and/or autism."

Tag the local charity @meetmacintyre and share your photos, selfies and how you are joining Time for Tea. Getting together over a slice of cake and tea has never seemed more important!
