Developers publish proposals for 34 new 'affordable' homes in a Milton Keynes village

Clayson Country Homes has published its plans to build 34 new homes in Hanslope and is now waiting to hear from the Council.

The proposed development, on Hartwell Road, intends to build a mixture of two and three-bed homes on agricultural land.

The new homes would be used for affordable rent, social rent, and shared ownership.

A statement issued to Milton Keynes Council reads: "The development offers the opportunity for a desirable residential community to National Design Space Standards with open space, that relates to the existing context and thoughtfully considered to provide a desirable place to live.

"The economic impact will allow an increase in local levels of employment through the construction operations, and by providing affordable housing to the community."
