It is supposed to be the time for giving, but cruel thieves broke into Wolverton's Namji Restaurant last night.
Owner Naseem Khan was devastated to discover the damage this morning - the day before she hosts a community feast for those in need in the community.
"They have gone through our sheds, and taken things we needed for tomorrow's event," she told MKFM, "I am devastated that people can stoop so low. It is yet another setback, but while they took physical things, they won't break my spirit and my purpose and faith remain intact," she told us.
"I truly believe that what you put out into the world, you receive back, and the community around me always supports and lifts me up - and I will do the same. They won't stop us being there for others, and the Boxing Day meal will go ahead," she promised.
"Namji is not just a restaurant, it is a mission, and we will rise - together."
> Tomorrow's event, at Wolverton's working men's club, will happen between midday and 2pm - and is free to attend.
