Council launches MK Explorers Prize Draw for Summer Holidays

Calling all budding MK Explorers - now you have the chance to win a prize as part of the council's new town heritage online social media activities.

MK Explorers is the online version created by the New Town Heritage Explorers project.

With thanks to the National Heritage Lottery Fund and Lottery Players, MK Council and MK City Discovery Centre have three different prize opportunities – participate and you could be in with a chance to win a Centre:MK gift card.

Cllr Carole Baume, Cabinet Member for Culture, said: “This is a really exciting opportunity for children and families in Milton Keynes to engage with their city’s unique culture during the summer break. I’d encourage families from across MK to get involved in these fun-filled activities.”

Before starting the activities, participants can visit the website http://www.mkcdc.org.uk/new-town-heritage-explorers and click on ‘Explorers Wanted – Get Involved’ for Prize Draw rules and some top information and research tips on finding their heritage and also watch some fun video tutorials on how to do each activity on the Council’s YouTube Channel and by clicking on New Town Heritage Explorers.
