Plans submitted for big refurbishment of Horwood House Hotel in Milton Keynes

A hotel which has been in Milton Keynes for over 100 years is set to be given a brand new look after a planning application was submitted.

A new bar and restaurant area are just a small part of the proposals for the Horwood House Hotel in Little Horwood, between Bletchley and Winslow.

The hotel owners also want to improve the existing reception area and create a brand new outdoor terrace space for guests to enjoy.

Officials at Buckinghamshire Council will now review the plans before deciding if the work can take place.

Horwood House is a Grade II listed building and therefore there are additional restrictions about the sort of work which can take place.

The full planning application is available on the Buckinghamshire Council website here.
