Consultation underway for proposed 40mph speed limit on Milton Keynes road

Residents have the chance to give their views on proposals to cut speed limits on a Milton Keynes grid road.

Speed limits on Dansteed Way in Milton Keynes will be reviewed following a consultation.

It could see Dansteed Way, from Lodge Roundabout to past Grange Farm roundabout, reduced to 40mph.

Residents are being asked to give their opinions on the speed limit

The proposed 40mph speed restriction comes as a result of concerns 'relating to speeding' on this stretch of the H road.

The City Council says the introduction of the above proposed speed restriction will encourage the 'convenient and safe movement of vehicular traffic'.

Local residents are able to provide consultation feedback on the speed restriction via the Milton Keynes City Council website.

The consultation is currently open until 10th August 2023.
