Consultation launched in bid to tackle speeding on residential street in Milton Keynes

    Residents have the chance to get involved in a consultation which has been launched to stop speeding on Simpson Road.

    MK Council is inviting residents to have their say on tackling speeding in Fenny Stratford. 

    An informal consultation has been launched, allowing residents to make a comment on the proposals being made by the Council's highways team.

    The summary of the consultation reads: 'We’ve identified a section of Simpson Road in Fenny Stratford where a number of vehicles are speeding. To tackle this issue, we’ve put proposals together to reduce the speed of traffic at this location and would like to hear your views on them.

    'You can view a plan showing the proposed changes to the current layout of Simpson Road in the Documents section.'

    Road humps are being proposed on the road to slow drivers down, a speed reduction is also being considered.

    Residents can make a comment on the proposals by sending them to Milton Keynes Council before 13th June.
