Construction begins on £47m rental flat building in Central Milton Keynes

The state-of-the-art apartment complex, called Aubrey Place, will consist of around 300 apartments once construction is complete in 2022.

Aubrey Place, which will stand 18 storeys tall at most, is being built for build-to-rent developer Packaged Living.

Opposite The Hub, there will be up to 300 one, two and three-bedroom apartments built in the H-shaped building. It will consist of two primary towers and a linking block.

According to Packaged Living's website, there will also be green rooftop terraces and over 10,000 sq ft of customer amenities.

Packaged Living has also showcased a futuristic dedicated tenant app, whereby residents should be able to book services, receive messages from other tenants and view parking availability.

Currently, earthworks for an underground carpark and bike store are underway. Construction website PBC Today says there will be 47 car parking spaces and 294 bike spaces.

Construction is set to be completed by April 2022.
