    In March 2022, the MK:U Innovation Hub was launched to support small businesses and innovators in developing and expanding their ideas. The hub offers a welcoming environment for professionals to accomplish work tasks, expand connections, and learn new skills.

    MK:U Apprenticeships

    MK:U, a joint project of Milton Keynes City Council and Cranfield University, not only brings local business communities together but also contributes to the development of the region by encouraging the next generation of skilled workers. MK:U mainly concentrates on new technologies and promoting STEM education to a wider audience. Currently, it offers Level 6 degree apprenticeships in: Chartered Manager, Cyber Security, Data Scientist and Digital and Technology Solutions.

    Ofsted inspectors praised the Level 6 degree apprenticeship program during their initial monitoring visit in October. The report emphasized the curriculum's high quality, which aligns with businesses' needs, as well as the excellent support and expert staff available to learners. Furthermore, the report noted the career progression that apprentices achieve as a result of the program.
