CONFIRMED: Iconic Canadian restaurant Tim Hortons is coming to Milton Keynes this year

Tim Hortons has today announced the arrival of its first drive-thru restaurant in the south of England, choosing Milton Keynes as the location for its new venue.

The brand famed for its signature coffee, delicious donuts and Canadian charm will open its doors and serve fan favourites later this year.

Located at the Kingston Centre Retail Park, customers can expect Canada’s favourite coffee, freshly baked donuts and Timbits®, as well as delicious breakfast, lunch and evening meal options, including hot sandwiches and wraps.

The opening is set to create 40+ jobs for the local community, offering a combination of full-time and part-time opportunities.

Kevin Hydes, Chief Commercial Officer of Tim Hortons® franchise in the U.K, commented: “We are delighted to bring positive news this year to Milton Keynes and are thrilled to have secured a fantastic location for our most southernly restaurant in England, and closest to London for fans based in the region.

“With our previous openings causing overnight queues and fans travelling from up and down the country, we expect this to be a huge occasion for us. We look forward to engaging with the Milton Keynes community and know this is the start of exciting times to come”.

The news comes as Taco Bell is set to open later on this month in Central Milton Keynes.
